The Sundowner is our customer event of the year—we spare no expense or effort in the months of preparation that go into it. It paid off once again this year. OnJuly 4, 2024. Building on the successful concept from the previous year, this year’s event featured a relaxed program consisting of a panel discussion, topic-specific roundtables with our high-profile speakers, and plenty of time for extensive networking. As expected, the evening event was once again the undisputed highlight.
At this year’s Sundowner, we provided a platform for some very special guests. In addition to our newest charity partner, Noél Funke fromHackers4Good e.V., who presented his project in a short session, our panel discussion featured Denis Fischer from KiK, Steffen Schwab from Erwin Hymer, and Thorsten Herold from Donner & Reuschel. The topic of the in-depth discussion: “The IT Tension Field – Between Efficiency and Speed.” Our speakers shared examples of significant IT optimizations achieved using ourF4SD tool. In addition to other case studies from their daily work, there was a special focus on their individual approaches to solving problems.
In three roundtable discussions, the guests then had the opportunity to discuss the speakers’ respective approaches and methods with them:

The evening event that followed, featuring an exquisite barbecue and a cocktail bar, took place outdoors under bright sunshine and blue skies—a particularly lovely way to wrap up the day, especially after it had poured all afternoon! The bench sets, bar tables, and lounge chairs invited guests to linger comfortably, while our grill master once again conjured up outstanding delicacies.
