Consulting4IT’s Live Ticker adds a visual monitoring component for IT operations to the Matrix42 Service Desk. Current information on incidents, problems, and changes can be tracked in real time in a separate window or on central monitors—regardless of whether the service desk is open.

The news ticker automatically provides status updates on escalations, work in progress, and resolutions. This gives IT teams, business departments, and management a clear overview of ongoing events in the service desk at all times. Especially during critical phases, this ensures rapid responses, better coordination, and an informed basis for decision-making.

The live ticker is therefore a powerful tool for supporting IT operations—visual, up-to-date, and requiring no additional interaction with the system.

 

Event Overview by Category

The Live Ticker displays the number of current events in configurable categories. Clicking on a number opens the corresponding overview directly in Matrix42 Service Desk—enabling quick responses and efficient handling. By default, the Live Ticker includes the following categories:

  • Responses to inquiries
  • Solutions
