Sundowner 2026

New ideas and plenty of discussion

On July 9, it was that time of year again: Our Sundowner brought together customers, partners, and colleagues in Waldbronn. For one day, everything revolved around the latest developments in IT service management, the use of artificial intelligence, and, above all, personal interaction. Because that’s exactly what the Sundowner thrives on—the people who bring it to life every year.

Professional Insights with an Eye Toward the Future

The event kicked off with an engaging session on OSINT, SOCMINT, and the Dark Web, which highlighted what information is freely available and the role it plays today in cybersecurity and modern investigative work. Klaus Ziegerhofer, Matrix42 Product Lead for AI, then provided insight into the latest developments in artificial intelligence within the Matrix42 platform. The focus was on specific use cases and the question of how AI can effectively support service management processes.

Another highlight of the program was our panel discussion titled “Service Experience & AI,” moderated by our CEO, Patrick Hild. Together with three of our clients, we discussed opportunities, challenges, and experiences from different perspectives—in a practical manner and with lively participation from the audience.

Guided Networking & Wrap-Up in the Courtyard

One highlight was our “Guided Networking” session. Instead of traditional roundtable discussions, guests were divided into diverse groups and worked together to solve various creative challenges. They discussed, laughed, and networked—and, along the way, many new connections were made. Our photo booth, which was used extensively, provided additional memories. The event wrapped up with a BBQ in the courtyard. Amid summery temperatures, good food, and cool drinks, conversations deepened, experiences were shared, and new connections were made.

A Day to Remember

We were particularly pleased with the feedback from our guests. They especially praised the excellent organization, the relaxed atmosphere, and the mix of professional content and personal interaction. The presentations, guided networking, and evening program were also very well received.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to all our guests, speakers, partners, and our entire team who made Sundowner 2026 possible. We’re already looking forward to Sundowner 2027!
