On July 6, 2023, months of planning for our “Sundowner” client event paid off: Over 80 guests from our client base, as well as representatives from our partner companies, joined us for the big Sundowner event at our offices in Waldbronn. The agenda didn’t consist of boring lectures, but rather included casual panel discussions and interview sessions, keynote speeches, and an interactive World Café. And, of course, let’s not forget the ever-popular evening event with a barbecue and cocktail bar.
There was also a special occasion to celebrate at this year’s Sundowner: our company’s 20th anniversary. To mark the occasion, our management team shared amusing and interesting anecdotes and photos from two decades of Consulting4IT during a brief trip down memory lane at the start of the event. Other topics covered during our event day included current IT developments, strategies, and product highlights such as F4SD, which was presented in detail during an engaging keynote speech.
The World Café then provided an opportunity for dialogue with our vendors and in-house experts. For this purpose, our Academy area was transformed into a sort of mini-expo. Spread across several stations, our vendors— Matrix42, Nexthink, and Varonis—were able to showcase their offerings effectively. Our Consulting division, the Academy, and the Product Hub—featuring F4SD and our in-house products—were also represented with their own booths.
The absolute highlight was the evening event, which kicked off at 5 p.m. with a large barbecue and cocktail bar in the courtyard, drawing our guests outdoors. There, bench sets, bar tables, and lounge chairs provided plenty of opportunities to relax with a plate of select grilled delicacies and a cocktail or soft drink. The sun also did the event justice, providing the perfect atmosphere for this thoroughly successful evening with a beautiful sunset.
In addition to our marketing team and management, all of this was made possible by our partners Matrix42, Varonis, and Nexthink, whom we would like to thank very much for attending and for their support. Special thanks also go to Martin Voskors from TDK and Ingo Loos from SEG Automotive for their contributions as guest speakers. In addition, a big thank you goes to our IT team and sound technician Marco Zacharias, as well as our excellent caterer Schiller 9, who ensured that everything ran smoothly from a technical standpoint and took care of our culinary needs.
But our biggest thanks go to our guests!Without their enthusiastic turnout, their interest, and their good spirits, the event wouldn’t be what it is!
