Rafting and Highland Games as a corporate event
Fortunately, our 2022 company trip didn’t fall through—we took matters into our own hands this time. During our rafting trip on the Isar in Lenggries, no one stayed dry, that’s for sure. Together with colleagues from our subsidiary Telesales4u, we set off by bus for Bavaria on Friday, June 24. Once we arrived in Lenggries, we started by fueling up with a hearty Weißwurst breakfast while taking in the breathtaking mountain views.
After a brief briefing from the rafting team, we finally plunged into the cool—if not quite as wild—waters of the Isar. With a total of 8 boats and under the guidance of our experienced guides, we paddled, rushed, and glided—more or less gracefully—along the 12-kilometer route to Bad Tölz, passing a few small rapids and stunning natural scenery. In between, we actually went for a swim. We all definitely got wet. We were able to warm up again at the barbecue and the Highland Games that followed. Whether it was boot throwing, barrel lifting, or hammer throwing—every team gave it their all! Who won? Team spirit!
We rounded off the evening in our well-stocked hotel bar.
What remains is the memory of an unforgettable day filled with plenty of action, games, fun, and excitement, good food and drinks, and a stronger sense of togetherness. We’d like to take this opportunity to thank our management and theMontevia team!
