F4SD from Consulting4IT Now Features Remote Control and AI Analysis
Smart Solutions for First-Level Support – Debuting at it-sa 2025
Waldbronn, August 15, 2025: With its new Remote Control feature, Consulting4IT is introducing a major enhancement to its F4SD product—a specialized application for first-level support that automates processes based on real-time analyses and automatically documents them. In addition to efficiently consolidating relevant support functions, the new, fully integrated feature now enables encrypted and rapid remote access to the workstation of the user seeking assistance. The resulting effective combination of live data and screenshots from remote sessions also allows for the targeted and focused use of AI to quickly resolve issues. The innovation will be unveiled for the first time at it-sa 2025 in Nuremberg.
Secure direct connection, AI-powered analysis, and comprehensive documentation
The new Remote Desktop feature in F4SD offers a range of benefits for F4SD customers. For instance, help desk staff can now quickly and directly establish a secure remote connection to the affected client in the event of a malfunction and gain a clear understanding of the situation—a decisive advantage, as many users have difficulty describing issues in detail. The connection is established via the existing F4SD agent and utilizes established authentication and encryption mechanisms, ensuring the highest possible security while maintaining maximum ease of use. Furthermore, the remote access feature is particularly notable for its simple and exceptionally fast connection setup. Support staff can thus save several minutes in some cases—time that is often required with other methods to establish a connection between the help desk and the user.
Another unique selling point is the integrated AI-powered on-screen analysis, which sets this new feature apart from traditional remote desktop applications. During a remote session, a help desk agent can highlight relevant areas or error messages and have these sections analyzed automatically and contextually by the integrated AI module. The result is a clear assessment of the cause of the issue, along with recommendations for appropriate quick actions to resolve it quickly—an intelligent integration of existing and new features in F4SD.
“The demands on IT support are constantly increasing. At the same time, the process should be as straightforward as possible for the user,” says Carlos Kohl, Head of Product Management at Consulting4IT. “With the new remote desktop feature and AI integration in F4SD, we’re providing a tool that eases the burden on both sides—the help desk and the user—and ensures greater speed, transparency, and security in support.”
Another feature that help desk staff are likely to appreciate is that all steps and content from the session are automatically documented and can be seamlessly transferred to existing ITSM systems. This eliminates the need for time-consuming manual documentation, further reducing the workload and saving valuable time in IT support. The resulting knowledge base can also be useful for future support cases.
A tool with strategic impact
The new module not only reduces the time required to handle support cases. It also eliminates the need for external remote maintenance tools, as the feature runs entirely on the existing F4SD infrastructure. As a result, companies benefit from lower licensing and administrative costs, a consolidated tool landscape, and greater control over security-related processes.
In addition, the new remote function meets the highest standards for data protection and compliance. The automatic documentation of every session ensures traceability and audit readiness—without any additional effort. The generated content can also be used as a knowledge base and opens up opportunities for use in future automation or AI projects.
“We’re not developing F4SD in a vacuum, but rather in response to real needs,” explains Mirko Oesterhaus, CEO of Consulting4IT. “We asked our customers and incorporated their requirements directly into F4SD. The AI-powered remote feature is therefore not just a gimmick, but represents real added value—indeed, a milestone—for us and our customers.”
