Professional Background:
After completing his studies in business informatics, Matthias Wurdig consistently focused on data, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. His professional career has been shaped by roles in e-commerce, telecommunications, and consulting. In these positions, he was responsible for designing and implementing data-driven solutions, overseeing projects from the initial concept through modeling to integration into existing processes, and laying the groundwork for sustainably applying insights in practice.
Most recently, in a leadership role, he managed a portfolio of numerous AI initiatives, worked with business units to prioritize suitable use cases, and led interdisciplinary teams from implementation through to live operation. His areas of expertise include data strategy, machine learning, and the practical application of artificial intelligence to achieve measurable improvements in business processes.
